Mayday, Mayday

Dear Readers, I've had a fine May Day weekend; a Monday off work, sun was shining, was out on Saturday night for a few jars of Kawasaki Love Juice™, tuned in to yet another fantastic Genocide Takeuchi-san/Chainsaw Diler/Shining Tama heavy metal show on Tannan FM, rode an arse-numbing kilometre journey too far on Sunday morning, scoffed decent grub and found some unlikely time to relax too.  Yet as all that temporary euphoria evaporates I am forced to concede to that the obligatory return to the Factory tomorrow morning beckons.  I am compelled to once more embrace her brutish charms, wrestle with the symptomatic worries which accompanies the daily grind.  Nevertheless, embrace it, I must, 'tis the nature of things.  I remain fortunate to be in the position that I find myself each shift.  Still it will not prevent your friend and humble narrator from playing the ominous drone of Tubular Bells as I enter the darkened factory gates, the foundations will shake and thunderclouds will rend the air, probably.

Andy Dunkley RIP

Playlist for Tuesday... probably...

Friends of Hell - Witchfinder General
One of These Days - Trespass
Over the Rainbow - Magnesium
Mr.Crowley - Blizzard of Oz
Judgement of the Dead - Pagan Altar

"I am compelled to once more embrace her brutish charms, wrestle with the symptomatic worries which accompanies the daily grind..." Never has it been summed up so well, though I think Blake came close with his "satanic windmills".

That Trespass song is great. Every now and again the 7" comes on eBay and I think about bidding for it, but it always goes for a ridiculous price.

Mayday was fine here at Bunter Towers. The sun shone down cheering everyone up and as I walked in the woods listening to Stained Class on my trusty old MP3 player (none of that i-pod nonsense here!).
I have no job and do not envy those that do, I always detested being a wage slave...although the wage would come in handy to help me CONSUME!

Steve Satanic Mills, the perfect grindhouse for a Heavy Metal fan

Thumper Some of these NWOBHM singles are quite the collectors items these days. My aquaintence with the Trespass song came from Metal for Muthas Vol.2

Toasted Mallow Stained Class is a formidable album and the last complete studio outing for the prog Priest I'd say. Beyond the Realms of Death!
