It's so easy to succumb to the gloom, let the unrelenting architecture of stress consume you. I've indeed supped fu wi horror to paraphrase Macbeth and yet Pop Pickers, the show must go on. In the anxiety riddled day the body and mind craves respite and like the boxer in that classic NWOBHM song by FIST, Throwing In Towel - "I wonder what I'm doing..."I bring you today's blogpost illustration - Starcrash & Caroline Munro - gratuitous galactic star girl!
Nevertheless I had the Number 666 bus to look forward to after the klaxon shrieked at work, no chariot today, so that meant iPod playlist...
Metal Gods - Judas Priest
Throwing in the Towel - FIST
Can I Play With Madness. - Iron Maiden
When The Screams Come - Pentagram

"the unrelenting architecture of stress..." that, sir, captures it perfectly. I too am tethered beneath a flyover of anxiety.
The crappy weather hasn't helped much either. I'm sinking in a sea of hoplessness. The sun is shining today so maybe a walk in the woods with Molly will cheer me up :D
