Self Pity Interlude

I've been under the weather of late, not with scurvy or pox but just feeling a wee bit low. I think the fact that it appears Pictland is still very much in the grip of winter as I write this and my usual work perseverance is being bitten around the edges by fatigue is the cause of my self-pity/loathing (delete as applicable).

I went to see the movie entitled The Devil Inside at the weekend, very much a worn exorcism yarn, had its moments but a truly rubbish ending.

Still, always time for a playlist too and from work...

Death Throes of the Terrorsquid - Alestorm
On With The Action - UFO
Master of the Universe - Hawkwind
Southern Sky - Iron Claw
I'll Be Your Ghost - The Devil's Blood

We went to see 'Iron Sky' at the W/E,
laughed a lot; it's full of quotes and references that most of the teeniebopper audience was too young to get :-(

Go see it if you get the chance, you'll laigh a lot. Especially the portrayal of Sarah Palin had me ROTFL :-)

I find a trip to the doctors for some happy pills cures the old self pity as for the self loathing? Keep it to a minimum old chum, you are a top chap!

Now where did I put that Alestorm album???

Steve - thank you dear friend, sometimes it has necessary to push through in spite of the adverse conditions. We must stay on our feet!

Stu - I've seen the trailers and really want to catch this when it reaches here. Looks fantastic.

Toast - Alestorm are such an underrated band, first class Scottish 'Pirate' Metal!!!

Alestorm always put me in the mood for a curry and some Hobgoblin to wash it down with!
