Huw Lloyd-Langton

What can I say, such a truly great guitarist and a fine fellow.  Rest in peace Huw, and I will meet you on the other side some day.

It's sad news.I'm glad I got to see hi with the hawks quite a few times between 79 and 88

Jams - me too, few guitarists are/were able to bring out such emotions in their music. Huw was one of those.

It's really sad that most rock fans don't even know who he is. A real guitar hero with his own style, not just another Eddie Van Halen clone.

He was a brilliant guitarist. I first saw him on his solo tour in 1986 at one of my first ever rock gigs, then later at Hawkwind gigs. 'Outside The Law' brings back such great memories for me.

The word 'artist' comes to mind when Huw's name comes up. What was equally as shocking, including the fact he was a mere 61 y/o, was he had previously overcome legionnaires' disease. RIP Huw.
