The Devil's Rock

After my usual Marmite on Toast washed down by a mug of hot Assam Tea this morning I proceeded to catch up with my movies backlog....and today it was the 2011 NZ horror set on Guernsey during 1944.  It is an interesting claustrophic picture which given its obvious limited budget stands up very well.  I enjoy occult stories centred around WW2, such as Masterton's The Devil's of D-Day and F.Paul Wilson's The Keep (and indeed the film of the same name complete with tasty Tangerine Dream soundtrack).  And just as Hellboy was given 'birth' on a Scottish island on December 23rd 1944 by Nazi occultists, here in Devil's Rock a demon is ahem, spawned again by Nazi dabbling!

I am all for The Devil's Rock and I'd give it 4 stars for demonic interest mixed up with the usual Fuhrer's fantasy of wonder weapons.
Bad Nazis you took a hell of a beating....

Nazi's and devil worship... go together like a horse and carriage.

This looks right tasty. I will catch it at the first opportunity.

Nazi's? Occult? I can't wait, although I will be setting expectations to low ;O)
